Nine riders competed in the Equitrial held at North Fork School of Equitation on April 27, 2008. Two riders were certified: Catherine Bartgis at Level Two and Suzanne Markowitz at Level One. Jill Randles judged.

Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) took top team honors at the ANRC National Intercollegiate Equitation Championship held at University of the South, Sewanee, TN on April 19-20, 2008. The University of Virginia (UVA) team was second, and Whitney Roper of UVA was the individual champion. To see the complete results, click on Championships.

The following riders were winners at the March 29, 2008, Equitrial held at Sweet Briar College: Pre-level One - Casey Pacheco; Level One - Laurel Sanders; Two-phase Level Two - Jackie Merritt; Three-phase Level Two - Alanna Jenkins; Level Three - Alison Sims

Sweet Briar College will host an ANRC clinic on May 11 - 13, 2008, and an ANRC Certification Center on May 15. For more informaton, contact Shelby French at sfrench@sbc.edu.

Shelby French, ANRC board member and past chair, received the coveted USHJA 2007 Volunteer of the Year award during the recent USHJA convention. Congratulations, Shelby!

Congratulations to the following riders who earned certifications at the October 27, 2007, Sweet Briar College Equitrial: Jordan Fedrizzi - Level One; Rachel Field, Allison Wynn, Lindsay Eckensberger, Morganne Young, Maggie McNamara, Nell Malbon, and Katie Bird - Level Two.
